The method
Accent work is neurological and practical.
We do not erase origin. We add a reliable professional habit the speaker can choose — General American / Canadian as the reference, international clarity as the outcome.
Map the gap. Walk the new route.
The brain already has a path from your first language. English sounds that do not exist there will not appear from vocabulary lists. We listen for the forks — vowels that collapse, consonants that die on a laptop microphone, stress that hides the point of the sentence.
Then we rehearse the new route until it is available in a meeting, not only in a drill.
Four moves
Hear the target
Ear training so the new sound is real before you try to make it.
Build the motor path
Tongue, jaw, breath. New habits, not slogans.
Put it in the job
Your slides, your patients, your product names.
Choose it under pressure
Meetings are where old habits try to return.
Ear. Mouth. Room. Those are the three places a professional accent has to live.
